The Ambassador of Commerce Program assists members/volunteers to serve as Ambassadors of Commerce for the Florida area through education and training on the public and private sectors of international business.

Following completion of their training the International Business Council of Florida certifies this Ambassadors of Commerce and provides them with credentials, business cards and Ambassador Sash.

While conducting their private international business affairs overseas and around the world, this trained Ambassadors of Commerce invite and host foreign businesses and governments representing foreign businesses to conduct trade through the ports, foreign trade zones, and the private business sectors of Florida, and with the organizations Alliances of the International Business Council of Florida

The success of our Ambassadors of Commerce Program relies entirely on providing high quality programs to educate members/volunteers in being effective international business ambassadors while abroad conducting private business.

How does it work?

Ambassador of Commerce Orientation/Training - Attend a training seminars formed with 10 modules with public and private infrastructure of the international business community of Florida (seaports, airports, county governments, economic development entities, logistic, law, immigration, real state, investment, protocol, and private international industries of the area).

Ambassador of Commerce Outreach - Upon certification as an Ambassador of Commerce, you will have the ability to select business leads from the International Business Council of Florida and use your International Business Council of Florida Ambassador of Commerce Credentials to make official calls on high-level foreign business executives, associations and organizations, as well as foreign governments and dignitaries to promote Florida as an international business friendly gateway to the United States, Latin America, Africa, Europe and the world.

Ambassador of Commerce Reception - This program is intended to present Florida to inbound trade missions and delegations.  Be part of an exclusive group of executives who greet foreign dignitaries and foreign business executives when they arrive in the area. Be a member of the reception committee to meet, host and inform these officials about the many international business opportunities in Florida.
